For 25 years, I have been passionate about music and sound in the widest possible sense. After obtaining my high school degree in Theatre at Kunsthumaniora Antwerp, I continued exploring the world of jazz and light music. I studied drums at Jazz Studio (Antwerp) and obtained my master’s degree in Jazz & Light Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp.

After my studies, I worked as a composer and live musician for various productions in theatre, dance, film and music. 

While working with theatre company Froe Froe, I fully experienced the unique reaction of children listening to drums, percussion and sound in general. That is why I delved into the teaching methodology of art courses in a master of teaching programme. 

I am very happy to pass on my experiences and get the children to explore a magical world of sound.
